Lejla's story

Lejla is 14 months old. Soon after she was born, doctors found a heart defect that needs surgery before she turns two. The operation is not covered by insurance within the time Lejla needs.

The clinic has issued a pro-forma invoice for the surgery, the hospital stay and the first check-up. The family has raised part of the amount themselves and is asking for help with the rest.

Every donation goes directly to the clinic. If more is raised than needed, the surplus goes to Lejla's rehabilitation, and this is published on this page.

Who receives the money

[CLINIC NAME], pro-forma invoice no. [NUMBER]€18,000

Sevap pays the clinic after receiving the final invoice. The family does not receive cash. Proof of payment is published in the updates.

Updates

  1. The clinic confirmed a surgery date in November.
  2. Half of the amount has been raised. Thank you to everyone who shared the campaign.
  3. The campaign was checked and published.
